Automobile Palace

 Restoration of the existing Grade 2 listed former bicycle and car showroom into a new business centre.

Through competitive tendering, SWG was successfully appointed to all three contracts for the Council to undertake internal refurbishment works, external works and gable wall works on this occupied building. The building is the earliest known car showroom built in Wales and had two tenants. Internal remodelling works were undertaken with new sanitaryware, refitting and decoration to all offices and extensive M&E works. Windows and external doors were repaired, an entire exterior building clean undertaken, new roof finishes, repairs to 22 stone lion statues and application of an insulated brick skin.
