Constructionline is the Government's preferred single national register for constructors and provides the pre-qualification tool for use in financial standing, technical references and other areas.
SWG have been a Silver Member for many years and in 2018 we were upgraded to a Gold member which involved all of the requirements for Silver plus Equal Opportunities & Diversity, Environmental Management and Quality Management.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created to improve health and safety standards across the UK and set industry benchmarks, provide assurance and reassurance.
SWG complete an annual assessment to remain accredited with CHAS. The majority of our clients require this standard to allow us to tender. We have been accredited for over 10 years.
SWG is registered on the Considerate Constructors Scheme whose Code of Considerate Practice commits us to care about the image of the construction industry including appearance, respecting the community, protecting the environment, securing everyone’s safety and valuing our workforce.
SWG were awarded the National Bronze Award for most considerate contractor for our turnover bracket in 2018.
SWG is a registered company with the CompetentRoofer scheme and is authorised to self-certify our work complies with the building regulations thereby avoiding the inconvenience and cost of involving the Local Authority building control department.
SWG is registered with NICEIC. Our annual assessment ensures we continue to carry out high quality electrical and/or renewable energy installation works to the latest relevant standard.
SWG is registered with Gas Safe who oversee the official list of gas businesses who are registered to work safely and legally on boilers, cookers, fires and all other gas appliances.
All gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.
The register aims to protect the public from unsafe gas work, and look to achieve this through:

regular inspections of Gas Safe registered engineers

educating consumers and raising awareness of gas safety

investigating reports of unsafe gas work
SWG Group’s Quality Management System is ISO 9001 UKAS certified. The ISO 9001 certification is given to organisations who can demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. SWG Group are audited annually by a UKAS accredited certification body in order to maintain our status as an ISO 9001 certified organisation.
