We are delighted to have handed over almost £2,000 to a wildlife trust in Powys.
SWG Group has presented a cheque for £1,750 to Radnorshire Wildlife Trust in Llandrindod Wells.
The trust is dedicated to rebuilding biodiversity and engaging people with their environment - and we are so pleased to be able to help out this worthwhile cause.
The trust manages 19 nature reserves in Radnorshire, caring for wildlife, working for nature's recovery and bringing people closer to nature.
The money SWG Group has donated will be used to help repair and replace the fencing at Pentwyn Farm, a 65 hectare site which The Heart of Wales Line Trail passes through. You can see their vision for the site here.

This donation is part of our commitment to the community and raising money for charity throughout 2022.
This year is the 20th anniversary year of SWG Group and we’re going to be making a difference to local people and charities each month.

First donation of 2022
Our presentation to Radnorshire Wildlife Trust is the first one to kick off our exciting celebrations.
We decided to invest in the land as sustainability is a priority of our business and we are fortunate enough to work in the surroundings of the beautiful Welsh countryside every day.
SWG Group Construction Director Shaun Humphries presented the money to James Hitchcock, Chief Executive Officer from Radnorshire Wildlife Trust.
James said: “This is our first donation for the site and much needed as grazing the site with cattle is absolutely integral to the future restoration of the site – low numbers and extensive management will create conditions that are more beneficial to birds, insects and wild-flowers.
“We have a significant target for fundraising and must work to repay our lenders, but creating positive change and showing that we can act upon our vision is the first step to making the vision for Pentwyn a reality.
“Thank you SWG Group. We look forward to keeping you updated and hopefully working together in future.”
