An eight-unit block that has been subject to major renovation both internally and externally. Due to a tenant remaining in one unit on the ground floor and a fully occupied block adjacent to the building close liaison was essential with all residents in order to ensure safety throughout the project and to provide the opportunity for communication between SWG and the residents before, during and after the project.
Each unit within the property has been renovated to Welsh Housing Quality Standards. The property received a full rewire and a sprinkler system with tank was installed throughout the property. Additional soundproofing was installed to all floors and ceilings together with plastering, decoration and flooring throughout the building. A new TV system and door entry system has been installed.
External works included the installation of a petrol interceptor, drainage repairs and improvements, the construction of a new external seating and laundry area with complementary landscaping and the installation of new bin and cycle storage facilities. New external lighting has been installed along with resin bound surfacing to walkways.
