Work Details

This project was designed to respond to local needs and priorities in terms of the tight supply of low rental accommodation. SWG undertook
the traditional construction of the 2-bed dormer bungalow with landscaping and parking. Works included foundations, drainage, block and beam
flooring with locally sourced timber frame with brick surround and slate tile roof. Internally the property benefitted from a high-quality kitchen and bathroom finish, flooring and decoration throughout. External works included wrap around decking, fencing, landscaping and the creation of two car parking spaces.

Constructed on a small infill town centre site, located on a single-track no-through road, within a close-knit residential area, excellent communication and
collaboration with residents was key to the success of the project. Our Liaison Officer worked hard to personally engage with each resident affected by the works and thereafter kept everyone informed as to the progress of the project.

Excellent build quality contributed to the achievement of an airtight rating of below 2.
