Work Details
Located on the grounds of County Hall, Southfield House, a derelict 3-storey property was demolished to allow for resurfacing works to be carried out to provide additional parking facilities for staff and visitors.
A specialist contractor was employed to remove all licensed asbestos before demolition works could begin. Consideration also had to be given to the existing bat sanctuary in close proximity to the property.
Close liaison was required with the Client to ensure minimal disruption to the day to day activities within County Hall and to ensure visitors and staff remained safe at all times.
