Our team is highly experienced in delivering factory and office refurbishments, extensions and new builds across a number of sectors including airports, seaports, engineering and commercial offices.

We are focused on ensuring the business continuity of our clients and therefore projects within this sector demand precise project planning and management together with tight financial control.

We routinely deliver projects on time and to budget through close liaison with the client and via the following mechanisms:

  • A detailed project programme identifying key work stages and timescales
  • A Risk Register identifying key risks and how these risks would be mitigated to ensure that the project is delivered successfully - on time, within budget, to an excellent standard of quality, in a safe manner and with minimum inconvenience to the operation of the school.
  • A cash flow forecast, with monthly updates
  • A Schedule of Variations, including potential/anticipated variations and a forecast Final Account figure
  • Early Warning Notices advising the Client of any potential delays or variations

SWG is mindful of the need to deliver projects to or, where possible, below budget. Working with its Clients SWG will identify any opportunity to Value Engineer parts of the works, if such opportunity is identified a proposal will be submitted for review and discussion. Details of how the proposed Value Engineering solution is equal or better to the specification requirements, potential cost savings, and time benefits will be provided.
