Simply having a wonderful Christmas time… on Christmas jumper day for charity!

Ho, Ho Ho! It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and in amongst all the holly, mistletoe, mulled wine and sleigh rides... well, perhaps not so much the sleigh rides, our staff have all been wearing their festive jumpers for the annual Christmas Jumper Day.

The national day on December 8 is a great way to raise money for Save the Children – and another way for our SWG Group staff to raise money for charity.

It’s been a big year for us at SWG, our 20th anniversary year, and one which has seen our team raise a lot of money for charity.

We’ve done physical challenges, golf days and many other events to raise money for a variety of charities – we’ll tell you all about it in another blog!

Save the Children  launched Christmas Jumper Day in  2012  and millions of people have worn their festive jumpers since, helping to raise money for children not only here in the UK but all across the world.

We had great fun taking part again this year, there were penguins, polar bear, Christmas trees, Santa and all sorts of colourful festive scenes that lit up our offices in Powys and Shropshire for the day!

This year there is the added incentive of every £2 raised by the public being matched by the Government – a fantastic cause!
