SWG Group is a member of CHAS, the UK’s leading contractor accreditation scheme, which ensures we uphold the very highest standards of health and safety on our sites.

We are a Constructionline Gold contractor, which sets the standard for safe working practices in the construction industry.

Alongside these accreditations, we employ an in-house SHEQ Manager together with third-party health and safety monitoring to maintain our exceptional standards – while also working towards achieving ISO45001 accreditation.

All employees receive mandatory health and safety training and toolbox talks, with all site managers qualified in the Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) and First Aid at Work.

As well as the physical safety of our staff, we pride ourselves on supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our workforce.

An inhouse team of trained mental health first aiders are always available for anyone who needs support, and mental health issues are regularly discussed across the company. SWG Group is proud to be a Gold Member of the Mental Health Charter.
